How about our story is about a man who when dies, his soul goes to the nearest person around him. so he never dies just goes from body to body. He knows nothing about that person, so he has to learn about their life. He is overall a good guy but also has a bad side. Sometimes he kills himself on purpose and sometimes its natural.

Do we need an outline or would this hurt the creativity of the story. Should we just see where it takes us. Should we come up with atleast a basic plot?
